Speed Networking Event for Alumni and Parents to Help the Class of 2009

Alumni Career Services is hosting Speed Networking Events all across the country to help the Class of 2009 network with the Bucknell alumni and parents communities.

Attendees select fields of interest ahead of time and receive a schedule at the event to meet with up to 12 people (alumni) for 6 minutes each.  The first half hour of the event is a general meet and greet and then the pairing begins.  Each packet will contain information about the people with whom you network, so there is an opportunity for follow up. 

Event Agenda:

5:00 – 5:30 pm          2009 graduate check-in:  How are you doing? 

5:30 - 6:00 pm          Alumni/Parent check-in

6:00-7:30 pm             Speed Networking

7:30 – 8:00 pm          Follow up to Networking event - Whitlows on Wilson

There is $10 parking under the building. To enter the parking garage, make a left off of Wilson Boulevard on Adams Street.

Driving

 From the Capital Beltway/I–495:

* Take I–66 E towards Washington

* Take the FAIRFAX DR exit– exit number 71–towards VA–120/VA–237/GLEBE RD

* Turn RIGHT onto Glebe Rd.

* Turn LEFT onto Wilson Blvd.

* Wilson Blvd. will merge with Clarendon Blvd.

* The Navy League Building is on your LEFT.

Metro (Subway)

AGC's office is conveniently located within walking distance from the Court House Metro Station, which is serviced by the orange line.

 Courthouse Plaza tunnel brings you up an escalator to the Courthouse Plaza (offices, shops, etc.)  Go straight, make a right at the Starbucks and 2300 Wilson Blvd. is across the street. Or come up in elevator and building is about 50 yards away caddy corner across the street
