Accolades by the barrel

Myles Anderson M'64, co-founder of Walla Walla Vintners, was selected as the 2011 inductee to the Legends of Washington Wine Hall of Fame. A gala will be held to honor him on Aug. 12 at The Clore Center in Prosser, Wash.

Anderson and his partner, Gordon Venneri, launched Walla Walla Vintners in 1995. Anderson was also the founding director of the Institute for Enology and Viticulture at Walla Walla Community College, which provides students with hands-on experience in winemaking, viticulture practices and wine sales.
