An artistic home

As director of the Baltimore Museum of Art, Doreen Bolger '71 deals with big-name artists and important art pieces every day. But a Dec. 31, 2010, Baltimore Sun article reveals that she fills her own home with the work of independent artists she discovers in small galleries around Baltimore, Md.

"I see a lot more art that I would like to have, and I think that I don't have enough space," Bolger tells the Sun. "And then I see a spot and think, 'Well there's a space.'"

To learn more about Bolger and her art-immersed life, read her blog, Art-Full Life, in which she chronicles her time seeing, supporting and writing about the arts in Baltimore City.
