Career Advice for Stay-at-Home Parents

Stay-at-home parents have many skills that can be listed on a resume, including budgeting, counseling, event planning, and educating. Volunteer activities like the PTA or coaching little league can also be included. It would be appropriate to refer to this experience as a "sabbatical for parenthood", and if you would like to list your parenting skills on your resume, you can use a title like "in-home care provider".
