A Speed Networking Event for Alumni and Parents to Help the Class of 2009


Alumni Career Services is hosting Speed Networking Events across the country to help the
Class of 2009 network with the Bucknell alumni and parent communities.

Join other Bucknell alumni and parents in serving as a resource for these recent graduates
by sharing your industry and profession information.

We need your participation to make the effort a success! 

Registration Deadline is June 12.
Minimum of 20 participants needed in each city.

This exciting "Speed Networking" format allows participants to indicate "alumni," "parent," or "Class of 2009" status, as well as fields of interest during online registration (prior to the event). Participants will receive a personalized, pre-designed schedule at the event, pairing them with up to 12 other participants for 6 minutes each, based on their registration choices. Cost is $15.

Attendees will receive the contact information of other participants at the event they attend-a great way to network with other friends of Bucknell while helping recent grads!

Event Agenda:

   1st Part: Starting at 5:00 p.m. (in most locations), we invite the Class of 2009 graduates to join together for   Pre-Reception check in with an Alumni Relations/ Career Development staff member.

   2nd Part: Beginning at 5:30 p.m. (in most locations) the Speed Networking pairing begins; attendees select fields of interest ahead of time and receive a schedule at the event to meet with up to 12 participants for 6 minutes each.

3rd Part: Informal networking and announcements.

There will be two steps to the Registration Process:
1) Register through B-Link under the individual city Club Page (Go to Clubs and Networks and click on the city you want. Look under "Upcoming Events.")
2) Once registered in B-Link, you will receive an email from the Speed Networking setup team, asking you to complete a more detailed industry survey. That will generate your schedule for the event.
