Carole Bourgeacq-Hardt

Program Director, Bucknell Professional Network

Carole Bourgeacq-Hardt is the Director of Bucknell Professional Network.  She started at Bucknell 10 years ago as Bucknell en France Coordinator for three years. In this position she worked with students interested in studying abroad in Tours, France, assisting them with travel preparations and procedures. She also assisted faculty teaching and traveling with the group each semester.

She then joined Bucknell Career Development Center as its Networking Events Manager. In this role, Carole managed all on and off campus recruiting and networking events. She also assisted Bucknellians across the country connect or reconnect in a given industry and helped students with their professional explorations and networking skills.  

In 2007, after the Alumni Relations Office and Career  Development Center merged, Carole became manager of the Professional Network program. Bucknell Finance Network was the first network launched. Since then, eight more have emerged. In addition, a student program mirroring the alumni piece has been implemented on campus.

Carole attended the Universite de Bordeaux, France, majoring in Economics and English.

As Director of Bucknell Professional Network, Carole provides to Bucknellians the option to join one or more professional networks which will offer them through her programs and events: career and industry explorations, networking opportunity and professional development.
