Majoring in economics, Erika Dunn was a member of the women's crew team, vice president of student government, and senior class president.
After earning a degree from The Dickinson School of Law, she received a direct commission as a first lieutenant into the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG). She served more than five years active duty in the U.S. Army and holds the rank of major in the reserves.
A partner in the law firm of Harter, Secrest, & Emery in Rochester, N.Y., Erika is involved with numerous community organizations, including St. Joseph's Villa, the American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, and the Boys and Girls Club. She also serves on the board of the Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley and regularly donates free legal services to indigent members of the community.
Active with the university, she is a member of the executive committee of the Bucknell Alumni Association, the alumni president of her class, and volunteers as an admissions representative. She has served as the chair of leadership giving for her class and was a key member of the Graduates of the Last Decade committee for leadership in annual giving.
Erika and her husband, Jon, have two young sons, Lukas and Olin.
